When I looked around the room I noticed who sat with who and what they were eating. Although not all of this was true, I noticed that most people sat in groups of two or more. I also noticed that most females sat with other females. If there was a male and female together it was either just the two of them, or there were more females in the group. Males on the other hand either sat with each other or by themselves in a large group of females. When looking at what people had to eat, I noticed that some girls has salad, and a lot of them had the home meal, which consisted of ziti and some sort of vegetable. Many of the females also went back up for dessert, and most had either cookies or ice cream. The guys around the room either had the home meal as well, or a lot of them had some sort of fried food. This includes burgers, hot dogs, or chicken sandwiches with French fries, which many turn into cheesy fries. I also noticed that most people, when going to get drinks, take two glasses and fill them because they know that won’t be enough. Overall the Scranton Commons is a place that students go to put away work for a little while and enjoy eating with friends.
